Alignment to Women of ALPFA’s purpose within ALPFA’s Perpetual Connectivity Map (bringing a leadership focus to targeted membership at their career level): Students, New & Mid-level Professionals, and Senior Executives. Strong from the Inside Out advances women’s leadership by improving one’s ability to lead through inner passions and strength that will enrich, energize, and motivate and in turn drive commitment and productivity.

History of Women of ALPFA

The Women of ALPFA program was started in 2002 by visionary professional Latinas with a purpose of creating opportunities for professional Latinas and empowering Latinas through leadership skills, training, mentoring and career advancement. The Women of ALPFA network was launched at ALPFA’s 2002 National Convention in Orlando, Florida at a Women of ALPFA leadership breakfast. This annual Women of ALPFA leadership event brought together all of the women leaders of ALPFA from across the country and provided them with opportunity to network, meet other successful women in Corporate America and empower them to continue to develop their leadership skills.
