We are seeking individuals that have an interest in working closely with the ALPFA Seattle board to promote our mission. 'To create opportunities, add value, build relationships for our members, the community and business partners, while expanding Latino Leadership in the global workforce.'
Responsibilities include;
o Managing and leading a committee
o Participating in implementing committee and chapter goals
o Assisting with signature and key events
o Representing and marketing ALPFA at key events and media

All nominations & applications are reviewed by the current Board of Directors and a vote is taken to decide the final candidate selected for the position. Chapter President will reach out to all applicants, and will notify the final candidate.

The Programs Committee - The Event Planning Committee is responsible for the overall planning and execution of professional development, CE workshops, and marquee events, including the Women of ALPFA program within the Seattle Chapter. They collaborate closely with the other chapter committees to ensure members attend value-added events and programs throughout the year.
The Membership Committee - The Membership Committee functions in a team environment creating and implementing strategies to increase and retain talented and qualified members. As a team member, you would help to attract new members by supporting membership initiatives such as referral programs and membership drives.
The Marketing & PR Committee - The Public Relations Committee is responsible for the development and nurturing of relationships both internally and externally in the surrounding Seattle community. As a team member, you would contributing to the quarterly newsletter and fostering new relationships with professional organizations in the area.
The Corporate Affairs Committee - The Fundraising and Partnership Development Committee is responsible for the development and nurturing of relationships with our corporate partners. As a team member, you would lead efforts to fundraise for chapter events and general operations, in addition to maintaining and developing relationship with corporate partners in the Seattle area.
The Student Affairs Committee - The Student Outreach Committee is responsible for the development and nurturing of student relationships, initiatives, and programs. As a team member, you would be a liaison between the board of directors and the student chapters.
VP will provide information regarding available committee opportunities, committee expectations, & committee responsibilities. If all parties are in agreement, interested member joins committee.
