ALPFA Seattle Student Convention Fund
Shining the light on our future leaders
ALPFA Seattle wants to help local students who exemplify leadership through academic performance, service to ALPFA and their communities by sponsoring them to attend the 2012 ALPFA National Convention. To help accomplish this, ALPFA Seattle is hosting our first annual Student Convention Fund. Your donation to the fund will help sponsor an ALPFA Student member to attend the 2012 National Convention. Students will be selected based on an application process. Requirements will include having a GPA of 3.0 or higher, being an active ALPFA member, and response to an essay on what they wish to accomplish at the convention and how they will share what they have learned with others.
Our goal of $1,000 will fund 2 students with convention registration and flights to Las Vegas, Nevada. Students will need to provide their own hotel accommodations and daily expenditures.
