Mentorship Program

Mentoring is a developmental relationship, in which an experienced individual provides support and guidance to one that is less experienced. Effective mentors serve as advisors, coaches, teachers, sounding boards, cheerleaders, and critics all rolled into one. As a mentor of the ALPFA UW Student Chapter, you will be able to share the knowledge you have gained from working as a professional. More specifically, to a student applicant who has shown interest in learning the steps you have taken to prepare to enter this chapter of your life, and what you have done to be successful.

The following are requirements for participation in the program:

  • Attendance to the mentorship program launch event in early December 2012
  • Contact mentee and discuss scheduling and arrange initial meeting no than December 15 2012
  • Contact your assigned mentee on a monthly basis between December 2012 and June 2013

Please email either the mentee or mentor application to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
